Oil and energy day

Many of you have probably already seen and enlisted for the Poster/Project presentation, and we look forward to seeing you there. This will be a great opportunity for you to show the industry what you are working on, making yourself more visible for talent acquisitions. Many of the companies attending will be on the lookout for summer interns as well as graduates, so make sure to get some new friends on LinkedIn. AkerBP will arrange the hackathon and select the winners. Several companies have agreed to prize the winner, and with the current oil price there is no reason for them to hold anything back! The panel discussion will bring out the topic that many of you are wondering today, “The Industry for Petroleum Engineers in 2050”. Tommy Skjerven VP D&W – Aker BP, Lasse Hermansson CEO – THREE60Energy, Ørjan Jentoft VP Partner Operated Assets – Vår Energi and high-ranking people from Equinor, Schlumberger, Sval Energi, NPD and SPE will join the panel discussion. The facilitator, managing the panel discussion will be Inger Johanne Stenberg – Communication Director at ONS. You will be more than welcome to ask questions during the Q&A. To end the event, there will be a three-course dinner including a wine package in the city center at Radisson Blu Atlantic, in the Atlantic Hall. This will be a great opportunity for you to mingle with potential employers, as well as having fun.
